NFTC Congratulates Dr. Okonjo-Iweala on Appointment for Second Term as WTO Director-General

WASHINGTON DC – National Foreign Trade Council (NFTC) President Jake Colvin today issued a statement on the appointment of Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala for a second term as Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO):

“The NFTC congratulates Dr. Okonjo-Iweala on her appointment for a second term as WTO Director-General. She has been a steady and thoughtful leader during a time of tremendous geopolitical and economic challenges. The WTO will be very well-served by her continued leadership, and the business community looks forward to continuing to work with her and her team to meet today’s global trade and supply chain challenges.”
