Trade Committee Meeting: Assessing the Congressional Election Results
Please join us next Thursday, November 6 from 11:00am – noon at NFTC, (1625 K Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC) with Steve Champlin, Vice President of the Duberstein Group for a post-election analysis of the results of the 2008 contest in the House and Senate and the likely impact on trade legislation. Steve has worked closely with many of us as he and his firm have helped whip and calculate legislative strategy for free trade votes for over a decade. As a past Executive Director of the House Democratic Caucus and Executive Floor Assistant to the House Majority Whip, Steve has a unique perspective so this informal and off the record discussion should be informative.
