 Please join us Thursday, November 4, 11:00am – Noon at NFTC (1625 K Street, NW, S. 200) with Steve Champlin, Senior Vice President of the Duberstein Group for an analysis of the results of the 2010 mid-term Congressional election and the likely impact on U.S. trade policy and legislation. Steve has worked closely with many of us as he and his firm has helped whip and calculate legislative strategy for free trade votes for over a decade. Steve Champlin joined The Duberstein Group in 1993 after having been Executive Director of the Democratic Caucus for Congressman Steny Hoyer from 1991-1993. Prior to this position, he served as Executive Floor Assistant for both Congressman Tony Coelho (D-CA) and Congressman William Gray (D-PA) respectively, from 1987-1991. He began his career on Capitol Hill as a Professional Staff Member, and then Director of the Washington Office for the Vietnam Veterans of America in 1978, and from 1981-1987, he was a Legislative Director, and then Administrative Assistant for Congressman David Bonior (D-MI).
