Trade and Finance Committee Meeting : USG briefing on US-India BIT negotiations
The United States and India are scheduled to begin bilateral investment treaty (“BIT”) negotiations the week of January 26 in New Delhi. In advance of this first round of negotiations, USTR and the State Department invite you to a business community briefing next week. Josh Kallmer of USTR and Wes Scholz of the State Department are the lead negotiators. This briefing will preview the negotiations, identify key issues, and give the business community an opportunity to ask questions and provide initial views.
