Re: Wednesday, June 9, 2010 Tax Lunch Forum
The next NFTC Tax Luncheon Forum to discuss current international tax issues will be held on Wednesday, June 9th at 12:00 p.m. ET, at the NFTC offices, 1625 K Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC. We are very pleased that four Embassy representatives have agreed to meet and speak with us about the tax and economic situations facing their countries currently. Laurence Simms is the First Secretary (Economics) at the Irish Embassy and Domagoj Juricic is the First Secretary for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia. Please join us for an opportunity to meet these embassy representatives and come prepared for a lively dialogue.
For those attending the meeting, lunch will be provided for $40.00, payable by check or credit card. Please register in advance (by Friday, June 4th) so that we can make the necessary lunch arrangements or provide the conference call-in number to you. For those who are outside the Washington Metropolitan area who cannot attend in person, a call-in number will be provided to you, however, you must return the attached response form to firstname.lastname@example.org before the call-in information will be sent to you. Please complete the attached response form to attend or participate in the conference call and return it by Friday, June 4th (note that no refunds will be made after Friday).
Note to conference call participants: To give our speaker time to eat lunch, the discussion will start at approximately 12:15pm; (i.e., the call in number will activate at 12:15pm). Also, please put your phones on mute unless you are speaking and DO NOT PUT YOUR PHONE ON HOLD AT ANY TIME during the call.
I look forward to your participation in the next Tax Lunch Forum.
