Tax Breakfast Forum – Speaker: David Olander, Chief Tax Counsel, House Ways and Means Minority
Tax Breakfast Forum Speaker: David Olander
Re: Wednesday, June 10, 2009 Tax Breakfast Forum The next NFTC Tax Lunch Forum (PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MEETING HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A BREAKFAST MEETING) to discuss current international tax issues will be held on Wednesday, June 10 at 8:00 a.m. ET, at the NFTC offices, 1625 K Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC. David Olander has agreed to speak to us on the current tax legislative agenda in the House Ways and Means Committee. Given the busy staff schedule with both the health care and cap and trade legislation currently in play, it was necessary to move the meeting to a breakfast meeting to accommodate Davids schedule. I apologize in advance to our West Coast members for the early start time. Please join us for this informative discussion and come prepared for a lively dialogue. For those attending the meeting, breakfast will be provided for $35.00, payable by check or credit card. Please register in advance (by Friday, June 5th) so that we can make the necessary breakfast arrangements or provide the conference call-in number to you. For those who are outside the Washington Metropolitan area who cannot attend in person, a call-in number will be provided to you, however, you must return the attached response form to vmyers@nftc.org before the call-in information will be sent to you. Please complete the attached response form to attend or participate in the conference call and return it by Friday, June 5th (note that no refunds will be made after Friday). Note to conference call participants: To give our speaker time to eat breakfast , the discussion will start at approximately 8:15 pm; (i.e., the call in number will activate at 8:10 pm). Also, please put your phones on mute unless you are speaking and DO NOT PUT YOUR PHONE ON HOLD AT ANY TIME during the call. I look forward to your participation in the next Tax Lunch Forum.
