The NFTC has been presented with an opportunity to have Mukesh Butani, a prominent Indian Tax Practitioner, discuss the current tax environment in India.¬† Mr. Butani is a founding partner of BMR & Associates where he leads the firm”s international tax and transfer pricing practice.¬†

There will be a special Tax Lunch Forum on Thursday, May 25th, at 12:00 p.m. ET, at the NFTC offices, 1625 K Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC.¬† Mr. Butani”s will discuss the Indian tax reform agenda, in-bound tax planning and structuring opportunities, recent rulings and judgments impacting cross-border trade and investment, and recent audit experience with an emphasis on transfer pricing audits.

Please join us for this informative discussion.

For those attending the meeting, lunch will be provided for $40, payable by check or credit card.  Please register in advance (by Tuesday, May 23rd) so that we can make the necessary lunch arrangements or provide the conference call-in number to you.  For those who are outside the Washington Metropolitan area who cannot attend in person, a call-in number will be provided to you, however, you must return the attached response form to vmyers@nftc.org before the call-in information will be sent to you. Please complete the attached response form to attend or participate in the conference call and return it by  Tuesday, May 23rd (note that no refunds will be made after Tuesday).

Note to conference call participants: To give our speaker time to eat lunch, the discussion will start at approximately 12:15pm; (i.e., the call in number will activate at 12:15pm). Also, please put your phones on mute unless you are speaking and DO NOT PUT YOUR PHONE ON HOLD AT ANY TIME during the call.
