NFTC Trade & Finance Committee: Meeting USTR on “Green Trade, SMEs and Supply Chains”

Please join the National Foreign Trade Council for a briefing and discussion with the Office of the United States Trade Representative on “Green Trade, SMEs and Supply Chains” on Friday, January 22 at 10:00am at NFTC’s offices, 1625 K Street NW, Suite 200.

USTR is interested in hearing from small and medium-sized companies, as well as multinational companies that depend on SMEs in their supply chains, regarding their particular interests in the context of U.S. efforts to address environmental priorities in its trade initiatives, such as expanding trade in environmental goods and services. Discussants will include:

• Mark Linscott and Jennifer Prescott, Assistant and Deputy Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for the Environment;
• Tim Richards, Managing Director for International Energy Policy with General Electric Company; and
• Dawn Kristof Champney, President of the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association.
