NFTC Trade & Finance Committee: Brazil Infrastructure Procurement Transparency
The U.S. Government’s interagency Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee (TPCC) has invited companies involved in infrastructure projects to a discuss on the transparency of Brazilian federal procurement.
Brian O’Neill, Treasury Department Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe, Eurasia, Western Hemisphere, has been working with Ambassador Sobel and an interagency team to encourage Brazil to make their process for funding and moving Federal level infrastructure projects more transparent. DAS O’Neill and the interagency team would like to hear from interested U.S. firms about their experiences dealing with infrastructure projects in Brazil.
The meeting will take place this Friday, March 14th, at 10:30 am in Room 3407 of the main Commerce Building (14th & Constitution Avenue, NW, Washington, DC). Due to space constraints in the room, we have been given a limit of around 25 total participants so we’ll forward names as we receive them so please RSVP quickly to make sure you make the capacity limit.
