NFTC Tax Luncheon Forum
The next NFTC Tax Luncheon Forum to discuss current international tax developments will be held on Wednesday, March 23rd, at 12:00 p.m. ET, at the NFTC offices, 1625 K Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC. Nicholas DeNovio, Deputy Chief Counsel (Technical), Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service will be our speaker. He will update us on IRC Section 965 issues and pending guidance. Mr. DeNovio will also entertain your questions at the Tax Luncheon Forum on various issues including: the Treasury and IRS Priority Guidance Plan (the “business plan”), transfer pricing and cost sharing, check the box issues, IRC Section 199 guidance, mergers and acquisitions, tax shelters, etc. If are interested in submitting questions in advance for Mr. DeNovio to answer at the meeting (anonymous at your option), please forward them to jscarabello@nftc.org. It will be an interesting discussion, please attend and join in.
For those attending the meeting, lunch will be provided for $40, payable by check or credit card. Please register in advance (by Monday, March 21st) so that we can make the necessary lunch arrangements or provide the conference call-in number to you. For those who are outside the Washington Metropolitan area who cannot attend in person, a call-in number will be provided to you, however, you must return the attached response form to vmyers@nftc.org before the call-in information will be sent to you. Please complete the attached response form to attend or participate in the conference call and return it by Monday, March 21st (note that no refunds will be made after Monday).
