NFTC Global Food Safety Policy Forum

Date: 9/18/08

With an increasingly global food supply chain, food safety is a leading topic on the world’s political agenda. The changing environment and on-going farming issues will continue to drive food safety issues to the forefront.  In an effort to create ‘bridges’ among industry and policy leaders, the National Foreign Trade Council and Waters Corporation are hosting a Global Food Safety Policy Forum focused on technology and policy solutions to develop a safe, healthy world class food supply chain in the United States and amongt its foreign trading partners.

The Forum will feature speakers and panels representing food manufacturers and government officials to address globalization, changing marketplace pressures, and a look forward in an U.S. election year.
