Upcoming NFTC 2007 Tax Committee Fall Meeting

 

 

The annual NFTC Fall Tax Committee Meeting will be held inWashington, DC, September 20th – 21st.  The meeting will begin with a reception and dinner the evening of Thursday, September 20th.  The meeting will continue Friday morning, September 21st and end with a reception and lunch.  Michael Mundaca, Deputy,Assistant Secretary to the Treasury for International Tax Affairs, has been invited as the honored keynote dinner speaker.

 

The meeting will kick off with a panel of senior legislative tax staff moderated by Nick Giordano of Washington Council Ernst & Young.¬† The panelists will discuss tax legislation and offer their forecast for the remainder of the 110th Congress and their predictions for the next session.¬† Tax officials from the U.S. Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service will round out this year”s agenda.¬† For more information, contact Catherine Schultz, Vice President for Tax Policy, at cschultz@nftc.org.¬†¬†¬†
