| Jeff Kupfer The NFTC Tax Committee Fall Meeting begins with a reception the evening of Monday, September 19th, at the Four Seasons in Washington, DC. The meeting continues through lunch on Tuesday, September 20th. This year”s agenda includes a Competent Authority update by Bob Green, Director, International, U.S. Competent Authority (and former NFTC Tax Vice President) and a Budget Update by Dr. Douglas Holtz-Eakin, Director, Congressional Budget Office. Nick Giordano, of Washington Council Ernst & Young, will moderate the legislative panel consisting of senior tax staff from the Senate Finance and Ways and Means Committees that will kick off the meeting. A Draft Agenda and Registration Form are attached. The Fall Tax Committee Meeting will close with a reception and luncheon. Hal Hicks, Associate Chief Counsel International, IRS, is the confirmed keynote luncheon speaker. |
