The NFTC Tax Committee Fall Meeting begins with a reception the evening of Wednesday, September 27th, at The Madison, 1177 Fifteenth Street, NW, Washington, DC. The meeting continues through lunch on Thursday, September 28th. A legislative panel moderated by Nick Giordano of Washington Council Ernst & Young will kick off the meeting. Senate Finance and Ways and Means Committee senior tax staff are invited. This year”s agenda also includes a panel comprised of Former Officials of the Office of Chief Counsel International, IRS, who will share their views, and Lilian Bertin, Director Tax and Customs, European Commission, will join us to discuss European Commission tax initiatives, including the Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base. The Fall Tax Committee Meeting will close with a reception and luncheon. Hal Hicks, International Tax Counsel, U.S. Treasury, is our invited keynote luncheon speaker.
