Energizing a Renewed TransPacific Partnership

In light of the recent announcement that the United States will begin negotiations to join the Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership, a comprehensive Free Trade Agreement (FTA) concluded by Brunei Darussalam, Chile, New Zealand and Singapore, the Council of the Americas in association with the Asia Society Washington, the Center for Strategic and International Studies, US-ASEAN Business Council, the US-NZ Council, the Chilean American Chamber and the National Foreign Trade Council, is hosting a conversation to explore prospects for the agreement as well as the state of broader trans-Pacific economic integration.
