We Gratefully Acknowledge the Support of This Program From:

For many companies business expansion opportunities continue to exist but are in “emerging”, often unfamiliar, markets such as Brazil, China, India, the Middle East, Eastern Europe and Russia.

In addition to unfamiliar business establishment procedures and regulations there often are immigration, corporate and social taxes, employment and labor laws that must be understood to ensure success.

Enterprise success depends on key local and temporary expatriate assignees. Sourcing, recruiting, on-boarding, training and retaining talent in a cost-effective and compliant manner is essential.

This seminar will cover such topics as:
  • Experiences in establishing a business presence in China and other countries-lessons learned
  • Sourcing, recruiting, developing and retaining talent in Brazil, India and Russia
  • Understanding host country employment and labor laws
  • The requirements and costs of the new social insurance laws in India that apply to U.S. -based employers
  • Updates on cross-border unions
  • Managing cost-effective expatriate programs
  • Getting needed talent to remote/challenging markets

The Faculty will include subject matter experts from:

AIRINC,
Cigna International Expatriate Benefits
Ford Motor Company
Kelly Services International
Kellogg Company
KPMG LLP
Littler Mendelson PC
