April 18, 2003

In a letter to President Bush, three major multinational business associations today urged the President to speak out against actions to boycott products and services in the United States and Europe. In the letter, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Foreign Trade Council and the Organization for International Investment spoke out against politically-motivated boycotts against companies based on the policies taken by their governments regarding the war with Iraq.
