Elena Anillo is Policy Associate at the National Foreign Trade Council, the leading business association dedicated solely to advancing the interests of U.S. companies in international commerce.
Elena joins the NFTC having recently graduated from Indiana University with a Masters of Public Affairs. Elena’s masters degree focused on quantitative and qualitative policy analysis, international affairs, and homeland security. Elena also holds a Bachelors of Science in Public Affairs from Indiana University.
Prior to joining the NFTC, she worked in graduate assistant positions with the Indiana University Center for Rural Engagement and participated in the Global Leadership Program interning with the Fulbright Commission Portugal in Lisbon. Elena has prior experience as a legislative intern with the U.S. House of Representatives and with the Indiana General Assembly. As a legislative intern, Elena was responsible for researching and analyzing relevant policy issues, responding to constituents, developing talking points, and assisting with commission reports.
