Trade Adjustment Assistance
The NFTC supports improvements to and modernization of the U.S. Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program that gives displaced workers the tools, skills and resources to re-enter the workforce. The NFTC believes that an enhanced and expanded TAA program is a critical part of the U.S. trade policy agenda. The NFTC is a founding member of the Trade and American Competitiveness (TAAC) Coalition, which supports bipartisan legislation to enhance U.S. competitiveness to promote growth and prosperity for American抯 businesses, workers, consumers and communities.
